In 1991, a baby owl fell out of its nest and into the life of Mrs. Toyoko. Since then, she’s been caring for the nocturnal cutie by preparing its meals (he really likes sushi) and by providing the wayward critter a safe haven. Mrs. Toyoko is now seventy-nine and credits her good health to looking after her pet owl.
And since we love owls, sushi and eccentric old ladies that means this video is pretty much amazing.
Frankly, I think that any other form of feeding this dog would not be humanitarian and would constitute animal abuse. By having food spun around for him he can sample small portions while he contemplates the amount of human centric suffering that exists in the world around. He may then save some lives, after dinner, by being cute, cuddly, and offering solace to those humans who cannot, for some reason or another, relate to other humans as well as they can to something furry.
