“I sure hope she likes this flower I picked for her. Hope it doesn’t come off as too old fashioned. Did I put too much hair product in my tail?…”

We’ve heard of cats chasing squirrels, but never about a cat mothering a squirrel.
Tita the cat, took the abandoned rodent under her paw when her owner found him injured and alone in a park. Things didn’t look good for this poor little red squirrel, but cat owner Ruben Gaviria of Medillin, Colombia found that her cat Tita began treating it as her own. The adopted squirrel even has a playmate in the form of Tita’s young kitten. Now the baby squirrel suckles from Tita alongside the baby cat and cuddles up to sleep next to the feline friends. The plucky red squirrel looks set for a happy, if different, start to life.
Well we think they make an adorable little family.
This picture is ABSURD because squirrels could not possibly know anything about shutter-speeds, exposure timing or depth of field!
But in the squirrels defense, neither do most people who call themselves “photographers”.
“Don’t tell anyone this, but Sandy is a dude! She has nuts!”

Well that is just all kinds of nutty. Clearly that squirrel is nuts for peanuts… I could go on but I think I’ll spare you
