Looks like every one of those birds took to that pond…like a duck to water.
For the first time in their lives two dozen recently rescued ducks get their first taste of life in a pond. They had been living for years with a hoarder who had them in pens without adequate access to water or proper nutrition.

This baby squirrel suffered injuries to her leg and was separated from her mother when she fell from a tree – and she is not even three weeks old. The grey squirrel, called Violet, endured the ordeal when the branch her nest (known as a drey) was laying on was cut down. Fortunately, the couple cutting down the tree spotted Violet and immediately phoned the Wildlife Aid Foundation for advice on what to do. The foundation, based in Leatherhead, Surrey, took her in, bandaged her leg, and have been feeding her a special milk formula, similar to that her mother would have provided.

These beagles have known nothing except the confines of metal cages. They have known no soft human touch, no warm bed, no companionship, no love. They have never been outside or sniffed a tree or grass. Finally, after years of being poked and prodded, these beagles are FREE!
We got the call that a facility was willing to release them to us after they had been used in several tests. We picked them up on June 8th and now they are all in loving foster homes, and one has already been adopted.

The tiny puppies arrived at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm on February 22 after their owner passed away. The adoption center staff quickly assessed that the Chihuahuas were adapting to life without front legs and could be potential candidates for wheeled carts.
