Either one of the baby birds is pulling a flamingo, raising one leg in the air, or this is simply a nine-legged bird.

Either one of the baby birds is pulling a flamingo, raising one leg in the air, or this is simply a nine-legged bird.

This situation always prompts two lines of questioning in me:
1) How can something so tiny and cute be so freaking lethal?
2) How can such thin slivers of protein penetrate three layers of clothing yet I almost puncture my thumb trying to sew on a button because the needle doesn’t want to penetrate a thin layer of cheap cotton?
