As soon as photographer Barbara Lynne of Ontario, Canada finished hanging up corn-on-the-cob for the birds, this cheeky fella showed up and gorged as many kernels as possible. In less than a half hour (after a few trips back to the den) the corn cob was stripped bare.

Maitre D: And finally, monsieur, a wafer-thin mint.

Mr Creosote: No.

Maitre D: Oh sir… it’s only wafer thin.

Mr Creosote: Look – I couldn’t eat another thing. I’m absolutely stuffed. Bugger off.

Maitre D:Just the one, sir… voila… bon appetit…
