The idea of a “kitten pocket” makes me ridiculously happy. I’ll be off to sew them on to each and every shirt that I own.

Chances are, you think the comic strip Garfield is one of the funniest things in the world. Why wouldn’t you? I mean, anyone with a newspaper subscription and a heart loves Garfield. But really feline obesity is not funny at all. It’s a serious problem. Which is why Anderson Cooper was joined yesterday on his daytime show by Meow, a 37-pound rescue cat from Santa Fe who can barely walk. Because nothing says serious topic like watching a news anchor attempting to juggle a cat the size of a sack of potatoes.
In Meow’s defense though, the camera does add 10 lbs. Just saying.



The question remains, did he train his cat to do high fives, or is the cat training him…
