A craftsman named Astromark built this half-scale TARDIS as a playfort for his cat Kaylee, thus distilling the world wide web’s collective interests into an adorable series of photographs. The outside is a spot-on recreation of the Doctor’s familiar Police Box, but instead of a control room, it contains a cozy kitty lounge.

Cats are totally Time Lords. I’ve long been convinced that cats have harnessed the bigger-on-the-inside properties of closets, boxes and the space under the bed.

We feel so conflicted about this. A loris really shouldn’t be kept as a pet, but that little lick was so cute it hurt.

Today is Labor Day, a day when the whole nation gets a day off from work to relax and enjoy a long weekend. That includes cats too, who work ever so hard the rest of the year doing important stuff like sleeping and tearing up your couch.
