Is there anything better than connecting with nature through a good hike? Sadly not everyone has adventurous friends willing to hit the trail for a day or two.
One woman’s answer to that problem is just the cutest. She got a bunny friend to be her hiking partner!
The two companions had some great adventures on their first hike, such as spotting beluga whales and stunning Alaskan mountains.
“Finally, I found him!”. Meet Sir Quincey Isenhopper the hiking bunny.
“I was able to pack his bowl, food and favorite toys.”
“Here he is testing his harness around the local disc golf course. After a week or so of wearing it, Sir Quincey grew to love it because it meant he could play outside and go further than his fence.”
To his owner’s delight, Sir Quincey seemed to be enjoying the start of the hike as much as she was.
“He gets excited when I bring his harness out and doesn’t fight it being put on.”
“He mostly wanted to ride on my backpack. I think he likes being able to see from up there.”
“We made it 15 miles in to a remote forestry cabin just for Sir Quincey to steal my bed.”
“30 miles and 5 attempted eagle swoops later we made it home safely.”
And as a bonus, here is her cat Lickey…who doesn’t like to hike.
Well, isn’t that the most darling thing I’ve see all year!
